Summary
Come on out to the Waltham Field Station and learn about our rich history!
Description
Come on out to the Waltham Field Station and learn about our rich history! First we’ll hear about the evolution of the site from when it was owned by Waltham’s greatest benefactor Cornelia Warren, through the time when it was called the Market Garden Field Station, to now as various non-profit groups focussed on agriculture, education, and sustainability keep Cornelia Warren’s dream alive—hopefully far into the future. The talk will be followed by a guided tour of the Waltham Fields Community Farm operations led by their staff. Learn about and celebrate this special place in Waltham!
