SORRY - AS OF NOON ON 2/20, THE EVENT IS FULL. WAITLIST MANAGEMENT IS ON AND WE WILL TELL YOU IF A SPOT OPENS UP.
Marcia and Mark Wilson bring several live owls to Waltham for their Eyes on Owls program designed for elementary-aged school children and their families. We’ll learn field marks, signs and naturalist’s skills to use to find wild owls without disturbing them. Everyone is treated to a hooting lesson, as well as tips on how to attract and protect local owls. Then each owl will be brought out individually and shown to the group! All ages welcome, but best for grades 3-5.
Registration is required. Plenty of parking nearby at the McDevitt School and the municipal parking garage off Lexington and Common Streets.
This activity is supported in part by a grant from the Waltham Cultural Council, a local agency that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
