Summer Solstice Outdoor Yoga

Enjoy a lengthened sunset and achieve inner peace in a mowed meadow on the banks of the Charles River while benefiting land conservation and trail-building efforts in Waltham. In this fundraiser for the Waltham Land Trust, we'll walk as a group from the parking lot over the Charles to the riverside lawn downstream of the Mary Early Footbridge to perform yoga outside on one of the longest days of the year. We'll listen to water cascade over the breached Bleachery Dam and hear birds sing as they feed at dusk.

Fee is only $10 for Waltham Land Trust dues-paying members, $15 for non-members. Definitely remember a mat or towel to lie on, and bug spray. Perfect for beginners, as there are no mirrors in an outdoor "studio" so there is no need to feel self-conscious!

Online registristration closes midnight the night before the event. But you can still come the day of the event – just bring cash or a check made out to WLT.
