Waltham Riverfest Walk along the Charles

Celebrate and learn about the mighty Charles at Waltham Riverfest with an easy stroll. Traveling on the Blue Heron pathway, we’ll walk upstream and hear how what was once an ugly industrial area became the beautiful Upper Charles River Reservation. We’ll keep our eyes on the skies, scanning for eagles,  as we admire the Waltham Watch Factory and talk about its history while on the Prospect Street bridge near the Mt Feake cemetery before returning to the festivities at Moody Street. All day long at Waltham Riverfest, attendees can enjoy live music, vendors, food trucks, and kids’ activities on a closed Moody Street bridge.
