Wellington House Work Party #8

Volunteers are needed to assist Recreation Dept. Ranger Adam Green. To clear the edges of the fields, volunteers will move branches, move cut wood and move mulch. Adam will cut tree trunks and branches, which his assistant, Eric, will chip. Clearing is essential to allow mowing and the control of invasives without herbicides. Wood chips will act as mulch to protect the trees in the fields, and to reduce invasives along stone walls.

Please wear good walking shoes, bring your own water bottle and if you have them, heavy gloves, and headset ear protectors. The WLT will provide tools and foam ear protectors, and has gloves and other tools.
