Description

See the exhibit and meet and meet the artist behind Flow, Naoe Suzuki, who is also a WLT member and steward! Naoe (she/her) is a Japanese American visual artist, born in Tokyo, Japan, and has lived in the United States for over three decades. She is based in Waltham and works primarily with drawing, and practices community-engagement work about water. Her work meditates on the interconnectedness of our world, inviting viewers to reflect on our lifestyles, histories, relationships, and the legacy of colonialism to our environment.

Students from Waltham Dual Language School will also be exhibiting their one-page artist’s books on the importance of marine life.

*The exhibit is up through October 6th. You can still view the exhibit without participating in any activities. Gallery hours are during the shop hours of Monique Lancourt Jewelry and Artisan Gallery. Please note: Lincoln Arts Project Gallery is usually locked. Please go to Monique Lancourt Jewelry and Artisan Gallery next door and ask them to open the Lincoln Arts Project Gallery for you, or make an appointment with Naoe Suzuki."
