Registration required; space limited. THIS EVENT IS FULL.
Be part of the Great Backyard Bird Count and join us for walk along the Charles River pathways in search of fancy waterfowl including hooded and common mergansers, ring-necked, golden eyes, and ruddy ducks visiting from northern climes. Bring cameras and binoculars. Dogs are not allowed because they might scare away the birds. Dress for the weather and for standing around for long periods of time; postponed in very cold temperatures or if precipitation is falling.
Registration is required and space is limited. The meeting spot will be emailed closer to the date to those who sign up. This event is co-sponsored with the Brookline Bird Club and Menotomy Bird Club.
The bad weather date is Feb. 22.
