National Trails Day on the Mass Central Rail Trail

Help remove litter and invasive plant species from the Wayside branch of the Mass Central Rail Trail (MCRT), a soon-to-be multi-use path that crosses Waltham (and other towns) east to west a few blocks north of Main Street and Route 20/117. There may be ticks/poison ivy present. Wear work clothes, long sleeves, pants, closed shoes (not sandals), bug spay and sunscreen. Tools/water will be provided, but bring a bottle and loppers/hand pruners (marked with your name) if you have them.
