(FULL!) Western Greenway Hike at Stonehurst

Learn about the beautiful Paine Estate and the amazing man who designed its landscape, Frederick Law Olmsted, whose legacy is being celebrated all over the country this year in what would have been his 200th birthday. We’ll meet in the parking lot and walk east and south along the wooded Western Greenway Trail to where it currently terminates at the corner of Beaver and Forest Streets. The trek will be short, but we’ll travel down and up a rather steep hill as we approach Beaver Street. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring water.
