This year we are thrilled to have live in person, Sonya Rae and Ryan Taylor

Sonya Rae is a Boston-based guitarist, songwriter and singer, known for her soaring vocals, scorching guitar work and savvy song-craft, which has been likened to a “fiery female combination of Warren Haynes, Bonnie Raitt and Amy Winehouse”. After spending years crafting songs for recording artists as a signed writer for BMG Chrysalis, and after almost a decade of playing as side-woman guitarist for various singers and bands, Sonya now fronts her own project, joining forces with her masterful counterpart, husband Ryan Taylor on guitar forming a powerful guitar duo.

The two have worked with or shared stage with artists ranging from Austin queen of soul, Tameca Jones, Gary Clark Jr, John Popper of Blues Traveler, John Medeski and Derrico Watson of the Victor Wooten Band. They are two of the finest young guitar players in the scene today and continue to provide audiences with high energy and soulful performances up and down the east coast and beyond.

Sonya can be seen playing at New England's most popular venues, including: The Beehive, Atwoods Tavern, Menotomy Grill, Chianti’s, Bostonia, Bond (Langham Hotel), Aeronaut Brewery, Whisky on Water, and many, many more.
