New Year’s Day Hike from Starbucks

Take a longer hike through Prospect Hill Park with WLT Director Lesley Sneddon and other WLT leadership to the base of Little Prospect in time to meet the South Gate group for photos of Waltham and the Boston skyline. Sorry, no snacks provided this year; feel free to bring your own! Lesley is the author of A Walk in the Park nature guide, a book about the plant communities of Prospect Hill Park on sale for only $20 through the WLT website. 

This hike will be be on trails that may be steep and icy, with roots and rocks. If trekking on uneven surfaces is of concern, please join the South Gate group departing from the South Gate off Main Street at 1 pm instead.
