New Year’s Day Hike from the South Gate

Enjoy a shorter but still steep trek in Prospect Hill Park on the paved-but-not-plowed service road to the base of Little Prospect to meet the group coming from Starbucks. For those wanting a little trail time, WLT ED Sonja Wadman will veer off and take the Wood Trail and Boston Rock Trail to the top for photos of Waltham and the Boston skyline, while others in the WLT Leadership will continue along the service  road. Sorry, no snacks provided this year; feel free to bring your own!

The road and trails may be icy. Please wear appropriate footwear. If you’d rather take a longer hike through the park, please join the Starbucks group departing from 1265 Main Street at 12:30 pm instead.
